Valorant players seem to be having trouble connecting to game servers today in all major regions.
Players from North America to Europe and all the way to Asia Pacific are reporting that they cannot enter the game even though the servers appear to be active.
Riot Games seems to have acknowledged the problem that Valorant servers are currently facing, and on its status website, it announced this:
“We are aware of an issue that is causing players to get stuck in a login queue and are working on a fix.”
Hopefully the devs will find a solution to the problem very soon, as today is the last day of the competitive queue for Act 3 Episode 4 before it resets in preparation for Dimension , which should go live tomorrow.
Today will be the last day players can play ranked matches and seek to achieve a higher competitive level before the law ends.
Valorant Episode 5 Dimension will go live tomorrow
The new episode of Valorant, called Dimension, will release with its Act 1 tomorrow, bringing with it a brand new card called Pearl and a plethora of cosmetic packs.
The episode will introduce a new Battle Pass, as well as a new rank called Ascendant, placed between Diamond and Radiant to bring a more even distribution of ranks in the competitive queue.
Besides the new map and skins, the other highlight of Valorant patch 5.0 and the last episode will be the removal of Split from ranked and standard matchmaking.
However, this removal is temporary and the developers might want to change things up in Split and reintroduce them later. This despite a main reason behind this decision being to keep a good number (seven) of cards in the ranking.
Additionally, the Prelude to Chaos Cosmetic Pack is something fans have been looking forward to in Episode 5 since it was revealed last week. The price of the bundle should be around 8700 VP, with each pistol skin costing 2175 VP and the melee two-handed sword costing 4350 VP.
Prelude to Chaos is expected to drop with the new episode itself, and users will be able to get their hands on it when Patch 5.0 drops on June 22.
