If you’ve even heard of Roblox; the popular build and play games platform, then you need to know how many people are playing it every day. Those who have already learned how to create a Roblox account must already have fun with it. However, if you are a user who has lost their Roblox login credentials, then you must be worried about your account. If you are someone whose Roblox password is lost, don’t worry because I have a solution for you. So read on as I show you how to recover your lost Roblox password.

Whether you’ve forgotten your password or username, or your account has been hacked and you can’t log in, we’ll try to figure out how you can recover your Roblox account password and restore your access to your account. Additionally, we will also discuss some tips that you should follow to avoid losing your Roblox password in the future.

Things to check before continuing
Although you should be eager to recover your lost password, there are a few things you should check before you start. Be sure to keep these two important things in mind.
1. Recovery email/phone number
Contact information such as a recovery email or phone number is your backup plan for most accounts in case you lose login information. If you’ve followed our Roblox login guide, you should know how to create a recovery method. However, if you are someone who has not taken the time to add one, unfortunately you will not be able to recover your lost Roblox password in the conventional way. Don’t worry, because I’ll also show you how to contact Roblox Support for more help below.
2. Access to email account
If you luckily added a recovery email or phone number to your Roblox account, our job just got a whole lot easier. However, make sure you have access to your email account/phone number in question so that we can log in and recover your lost Roblox password.
3. (Optional) Google Authenticator
Although this authenticator is not necessary to reset your lost Roblox password, I will also teach you how to enable two-step verification below. If you want to do this after recovering your password, be sure to download and install Google Authenticator (Android|iOS ) and keep it handy.
How to Recover Lost Roblox Password Using Email/Phone Number
If you added an email or phone number to reset the password for Roblox, here’s how to do it.
1. Visit the Roblox Recover Password portal (website) to get started.
2. Click the Password to ensure that you are retrieving the correct credentials.
3. Enter your email address in the empty text box below and press Tp submit. If you added a phone number, click the phone number prompt below and do the same. You will then see a confirmation box confirming that the mail has been sent.
To note: Be sure to select your country from the drop-down menu if using a phone number. This is important to ensure that Roblox sends the six-digit security code with the correct country prefix.
4. Now it’s time to log into your email account and search for an email from Roblox. In my case it arrived almost immediately and will look like the one below. If you entered a phone number, check your messages for a six digits coded. Click on the Reset password button page to be directed to the appropriate page.
To note: If you haven’t received an email from Roblox, be sure to check your spam folder.
5. It’s time to create a new password. Be sure to think of a fort. You can use a password generator to get a secure combo. Be sure to write it down this time. When finished, press the Tp submit button.
You will now be immediately taken to the Roblox homepage and can view your profile. Congratulations, you have just reset your lost Roblox password! You can now use the Roblox login page with the new password you set up.
Contact Roblox Support
If you haven’t added a recovery email or phone number to your account, you may be locked out of the verification process. However, don’t worry because there is also a way around this. For this we will have to contact Roblox support for help. Follow the steps below for that.
1. Visit the official Roblox support page (website) to get started. You will now see a form in front of you. Let’s keep filling this out.
2. Although you can ignore your Roblox username or even your name, be sure to Enter your e-mail adress for the support system to respond to you.
3. Under Problem details, click on the relevant platform. For a lost password, you can choose one. I will choose computer.
4. Under Help Category, choose Account hacked or unable to log in. A subcategory will now open.
5. In the subcategory, click on forgotten password. You can even use the description box to give a more detailed account of your problem.
6. When finished, press the Tp submit button to send the support request.
And that’s all! Your ticket is now confirmed and you will be contacted by Roblox Support via the email id you provided in the form. Roblox support usually takes 24-48 hours to get back to users, so all you have to do is wait. If you provide the correct information, you should be able to access and recover your lost Roblox password fairly quickly.
Enable two-step verification
Now that you’ve recovered your lost Roblox password, it’s time to fortify your account with more protection. Roblox supports two-step verification, which means that once you’ve entered your password, you’ll need to enter a code through a compatible authenticator. This code changes quickly and can only be seen by you. Follow the steps below on how to enable it:
1. On your Roblox page, click the Settings cog, then click Settings.
2. Under the Settings tab that appears, click on the Security tab to access two factors.
3. Click the box next to the Authenticator app opportunity to continue.
4. You will then be asked to enter your password. Do that and press the Continue button. A pop-up box will now open.
5. Open the authenticator app and tap the More button. You can then choose to scan the QR code or setup key. I will choose the QR Code.
6. Line up the code with the displayed barcode and it will immediately recognize the authenticator.
7. Find the Roblox code in your authenticator and enter it in the empty text box on your PC. You can then click on the To verify button to complete the process.
8. You will now see your recovery codes. These are the codes you will need to use in case you lose access to the authenticator. Save these codes somewhere because that’s the only time you’ll see them. When done, click the checkbox and press close.
And you are done! The next time you log into your Roblox account, you can use your authenticator knowing you have an extra level of security.
Tips and Tricks for General Account Security
Now that you’ve recovered your lost Roblox password, be sure to keep the following tips in mind so you don’t lose it again.
1. Create a strong password
This actually applies not only to your Roblox account, but to all others. No matter where your account is, always make sure to create a strong password that cannot be cracked easily. A good rule of thumb is to create a password that is a mix of letters, numbers and symbols. This guarantees enhanced security. And once you’ve created one, memorize it and make sure you don’t forget it. You can use a password manager to save your passwords securely.
2. Avoid sharing your Roblox account with others
Unless you really trust the other person, avoid sharing your Roblox login credentials with other people. This ensures that control of your account is yours alone. Also, if you end up sharing your password, be sure to change it later so that future third-party access is blocked.
