Woman crushed to death by industrial bread machine in factory

A 22-year-old woman was killed while working in an industrial bakery.

Bibiana Arellano Delabra, of North Carolina, was operating a large industrial mixing machine when something went wrong and she was crushed in the process, according to ABC11.

First responders tried unsuccessfully to rescue Ms Delabra at the Automatic Rolls food factory in North Carolina on Saturday.

Also known as Northeast Foods, the company is said to be one of the largest suppliers of buns, buns and bread in the United States.

Mrs. Bibiana’s parents said ABC11 they were seeking legal advice and would not comment further.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) investigators are investigating the cause of death.

In a statement to the point of sale, the family business said it was devastated by the “tragic loss” of its employee in an accident.

“Initial reports from emergency responders deemed this event an accident and we remain committed to working with OSHA and all parties involved to conduct a thorough and complete investigation into this unthinkable tragedy,” the statement said.

“We have been in contact with the family of the victim and deeply regret the pain this is causing. Our employees will receive onsite counseling as we collectively mourn and process this loss.”
